How do you find a Statiq EV charging station?
To know if the Statiq charger is available before you reach the charging station, follow these simple steps.
Step 1: Install the Statiq Application on your mobile phone, and log in or sign up with your mobile number/email ID.
Step 2: Select your vehicle from the wide range of categories listed on the app, and it will redirect you to the map view, where you can check the nearest Statiq charger and availability.
Step 3: Select the charging spot and see the availability of the charger. At Noida Sector 16B, Berger Tower, there are 2 vehicle spots available. At the time we tried to find out the availability of the charger, there was one spot occupied, so we booked another one.
How to Charge EVs Using Statiq Chargers?
Using a Statiq charger is easy. There are 3 simple steps to charge your EV using a Statiq charger, and the instructions are also provided on the back wall of the charger.
Step 1: Simply download the step as instructed in the section above (How to find Statiq EV Charger) and scan the QR code printed on the Statiq charger. After this, recharge the Statiq Wallet.
Step 2: Connect the Charger with your EV and set the charging % and the time period you want to charge your EV.
Step 3: Meanwhile, your EV is getting charged. You can visit the cafe at the Tower and have some good meals.
Cost of Charging an EV Using Statiq Charger
The cost of charging depends on the units consumed by your EV. On average, the price lies between ₹18 – ₹19 per kW. There might be some applicable taxes, and the parking is free. You will see some coupon offers in the app itself, too.
NOTE: Depending on the state and the building where the charger is set, the price might vary, as the price per charging unit is different in different states, and the rental cost for the charger at different buildings may vary, too.
How Much Time It Takes to Charge an EV Using Statiq Charger
Since the charger is CCS2 DC with 60kW of capacity, it will take around 30-45 mins to charge an EV. This is a fast EV charging type of charger, so you can also get some time to have food and sit at the available Cafe’ in the tower.
